Welcome to The Outdoor Pre-school! We are a 32 place preschool based in an outdoor classroom on the site of the Federation of Abbey Schools, in the heart of the West End, Darlington.
We offer sessional care in term-time (38 weeks of the year) for children aged 2 to 5 years. Our sessions run from 9am to 3pm, weekdays.
We also offer breakfast club from 8am to 9am, after school sessions from 3pm to 5.30pm and holiday club (subject to availability) from 9am to 4pm,
We offer the Government funded 15 and 30 hours free childcare places for eligible children.
At The Outdoor Pre-school, we have adopted the approach set out by Forest Schools whilst also delivering the Government Early Years Foundation Stage.
